시험 때문에 못 갔어요 — I couldn't go because of the exam — apologising and postponing. Lesson 11 of Level 2A in the haru Korean regular course.
What you will be able to do
- Say that you have only a little of something — and it's not enough: 시간이 십 분밖에 없어요. 한 명밖에 안 왔어요.
- Say sorry with a reason, and say what you couldn't do: 늦어서 죄송합니다. 시험 때문에 못 갔어요.
- Ask gently and politely with -나요? and -(으)ㄴ가요?: 시험은 몇 시에 시작하나요? 시험이 많이 어려운가요?
- Move a plan to another day: 다음 주로 미룰까요? 혹시 다음 주 토요일은 괜찮은가요?
