V-(으)ㄹ 테면 — go ahead and try, if that's what you want — a dare that starts fights

Go ahead and try, if that's what you want — a dare that starts fights. Korean grammar for advanced learners — Level 5B, lesson 7: 팀플 단톡방 (The team-project group chat — a role table, a time poll, a member who reads and never answers, and how a team settles it).

What it means

V-(으)ㄹ 테면 means 'if you want to do it, do it — I don't care': 할 테면 해 보세요. It goes on verbs only: -을 테면 after 받침, -ㄹ 테면 after a vowel or ㄹ (잡을 테면 · 할 테면 · 만들 테면). The same verb follows as a command: 할 테면 해 보세요 · 갈 테면 가세요. In a game it is fun, but to a teammate or a colleague it easily starts a fight. The soft version: 할 거면 같이 해요.
