- Give a reason or a fact the listener already knows with -잖아(요): 가을에는 결혼식이 많잖아요. · 우리가 같은 팀이잖아요. · 제가 어제 말했잖아요.
- Say what you intend, plan or are scheduled to do with -(으)ㄹ 생각 · 계획 · 예정이다: 졸업하고 대학원에 진학할 생각이에요. · 결혼식은 11월 13일에 할 예정입니다.
- Say a goal is still a long way off — and answer praise modestly — with -(으)려면 멀었다: 결혼하려면 아직 멀었어요. · 한국 사람처럼 말하려면 아직 멀었어요.
