What it means
N(으)로 인해 gives the cause of something in writing: 수능으로 인해 출근 시간이 늦춰졌다 'because of the CSAT, the start of work was put back'. In speech 때문에 is more common; articles, reports and the news use (으)로 인해. Before a noun use (으)로 인한: 입시 경쟁으로 인한 스트레스 'stress caused by the competition for university places'. At the start of a sentence, 이로 인해 points back to the whole sentence before: … 이로 인해 사교육비가 늘었다 'because of this, spending on private education has grown'.
