아래와 같이 · V-(으)오니 — 'as below' and '-(으)오니 … 바랍니다' — the voice of a public notice
'as below' and '-(으)오니 … 바랍니다' — the voice of a public notice. Korean grammar for advanced learners — Level 5A, lesson 4: 모집 요강을 읽다 (Reading the admissions guide — applying to a university or graduate school: deadlines, documents and the visa).
What it means
V-(으)오니 gives the reason and leads to the request in a notice or an announcement: 설명회를 개최하오니 참석하시기 바랍니다 'as we hold an information session, please attend'. It is the written -(으)니까: -오니 after a vowel, -으오니 after 받침, -이오니 after a noun (모집하오니 · 있으오니 · 기간이오니), and it is followed by -(으)시기 바랍니다, 바랍니다 or 주십시오. 아래와 같이 'as below' (or 다음과 같이) comes before a list or a table: 아래와 같이 모집합니다.
