What it means
-는 만큼 from Lesson 3B-5 means 'to that degree': 일한 만큼 받아요. Today it gives a reason: you respond in a way that fits the fact — 중요한 서류인 만큼 미리 확인하세요. Adjectives take -(으)ㄴ 만큼, verbs -는 만큼 (done actions -(으)ㄴ 만큼), nouns N인 만큼. It is weightier and more formal than -(으)니까 and is common in news, notices and counselling.
