What you will be able to do
- Say firmly that something can't be — or can't have been — true with -(으)ㄹ 리가 없다, and push back with 그럴 리가요: 할머니가 그런 전화에 속으실 리가 없어요. · 민수 씨가 벌써 도착했을 리가 없어요.
- Say that things went as far as something you'd never expect with N까지: 소방관이 고양이까지 구했대요. · 우리 할머니한테까지 사기 전화가 왔어요.
- Say that something happened the very moment something else did with V-기가 무섭게: 불이 나기가 무섭게 소방차가 왔어요. · 연휴가 시작되기가 무섭게 길이 막혔어요.
- Read and write news sentences that set two facts against each other with -(으)나: 불은 크게 났으나 다친 사람은 없었다. · 비는 그치겠으나 바람이 강하게 불겠습니다.
