What you will be able to do

Say that a noisy, hectic situation got in the way with V-는 통에 · N 통에: 옆집이 이사하는 통에 서류를 하나도 못 읽었어요. · 위층 공사 통에 낮잠도 못 잤어요.
Say that you want to do something but it is simply impossible with -(으)ㄹ래야 -(으)ㄹ 수가 없다: 5월 방문 예약은 잡을래야 잡을 수가 없어요. · 그날 일은 잊을래야 잊을 수가 없어요.
Ask an office, a teacher or a stranger politely with -아/어 주셨으면 해요/합니다 and -아/어 주시면 감사하겠습니다: 금요일까지 증명서를 발급해 주셨으면 합니다. · 준비가 되면 문자로 알려 주시면 감사하겠습니다.
Complain politely in three steps — the problem, the request, a check: 토론 대회를 준비하는 통에 신청을 못 했어요. → 오늘 안에 발급해 주셨으면 해요. → 금요일에는 다섯 시에 문을 닫는다면서요?
