What you will be able to do
- Set one fact against another, or against what you would expect, with A-(으)ㄴ/V-는 데(에) 비해: 할아버지는 육 남매인 데 비해 유나는 남동생 하나뿐이에요. · 이 식당은 값이 싼 데 비해 음식이 정말 맛있어요.
- Add a second point that pulls the same way with A-(으)ㄴ/V-는 데다(가): 원서를 써야 하는 데다가 수업도 있어서 정말 바빠요.
- Say that two things happen or are true at once with V-는 동시에 · N인 동시에: 박 과장님은 과장인 동시에 김 대리님의 아내예요. · 문이 열리는 동시에 사람들이 들어왔어요.
- Set different cases side by side with A-(으)ㄴ가/V-는가 하면, name the main feature with N의 특징은 -다는 데에 있다, and use ten family proverbs: 형제가 많은 집이 있는가 하면 혼자 자란 사람도 있어요. · 피는 물보다 진하다.
